THE MISSING ACT is a SFW, for-charity, Arcane fanzine that explores the timeskip between Acts 1 and 2 of Season 1. From the meteoric rise of Hextech to the growing unrest in Zaun, The Missing Act delves into the lives of your favorite Arcane characters during the years leading up to Piltover’s 200th Progress Day, reading between the lines of canon and beyond to unveil the scenes unseen.

F.A.Q.
What is a zine?
A fanzine (‘fan magazine’) is a fan-created, non-official magazine booklet which consists of a collection of illustrations, fics, and merchandise centering around a specific theme.
Will the zine contain any NSFW content?
This zine will be exclusively SFW. There will be no explicit content, but inclusion of suggestive scenes or canon-typical mature content (i.e., strong language, mild nudity) will be evaluated by the moderation team on a case-by-case basis. Depictions of underage characters in suggestive scenes or positions will not be permitted. Relevant content warnings will be included.
Will the zine be limited to canon-compliant content only?
The zine will have two sections: one canon-compliant and one canon-divergent. Contributors in the canon-divergent section will be expected to create art or writing within the Arcane universe (i.e., Runeterra, Piltover, and Zaun), but will not be expected to adhere only to the canon plot outlined in Arcane.
Will the zine be physical or digital?
We hope to produce a physical zine with physical merchandise. This is subject to change, pending our Interest Check.
What characters are allowed in the zine?
This zine aims to explore the stories of any and all Arcane characters, including those who do not appear in Season 1, like Lest, Warwick, Maddie, and Steb.
What ships are allowed in the zine?
Most ships, including rarepairs, are allowed in the zine. Depictions of adult characters in romantic or sexually suggestive relationships with underage characters (i.e., Jinx/Silco, Sevika/Vi) will not be permitted. Depictions of incestuous relationships (i.e., Vi/Jinx) will not be permitted.
